Nice place with spacious rooms right at the riverfront. Rooms that are a big higher up have splendid views of the river (which doesn't have a promenade - or not yet, some construction is going on). You're basically in the Indochina Market, and there are shops nearby. At night, the area is very quiet and empty, as the nightlife happens elsewhere. Staff doesn't speak much English but that's easy to deal with - Google Translate and smiles work just fine. They are very helpful, anyway. The WiFi is fast, the service nice, and the rooms have kettles and a fridge. The night market is about 10-15 minutes walk, the Box Night Market about 10, and you can find plenty of decent nightlife some 20 minutes by foot (Pool House has live concerts and a good vibe; Roo cocktail bar is very decent; and if you venture a bit further south past the tower, you'll find some more live music places on the right side of the street).

The buffet breakfast was fine, had a couple of soups, rice dishes, curry, eggs, hot dogs, usual toast corn flakes etc etc. Location at the end of the Indo-Chin market, no tee shirts for the typical size European like me. 10-15 mins walk to the Night Box market. It only caters for food and beer. Sit on your table outside one of the bars and get your grub delivered by your chosen vendor. Open 7 nights a week 17:30-18:00 until midnight. Good local prices. Large Chang 75 baht.

As the name says, it overlooks the river. Separated from the river by the Indochina market. unfortunately in 2022, the markets are being repaired/redeveloped, and that process appears to be in limbo. So not much to see in Mukdahan! (Apart from the beautiful Mekong.)Room was clean and comfortable, with some nice decorative woodwork.

We liked everything from the moment we arrived until we left. Nothing bad to say about the hotel or staff. The breakfast was excellent. The staff efficient and polite. Parking was safe and clean. A wonderful view over the river. Great bed. Quaint decor. Good bed and shower.

Great location, the room was very nice and clean, the beds were comfertable. The breakfast is on the top floor with a great veiw of the river. There is a large market next to the hotel and a few small restaurants nearby so easy to get food and drink. I would stay here again.
